Little Moons

Here’s a thought.  It was a full moon recently and I was struck with the image of the sun in space shining on the earth so that looking from space you would see one half of the earth in the light of the sun and the other half not in the light of the son.

I then remembered that the only sun light that the side not in the light of the son gets is reflected (by the moon). And, that the source of this reflected (moon’s) light is actually the Son’s light reflecting off of each of us in the light, to those in the dark.  So the next time you see a full moon consider yourself a ‘little moon’ if you are reflecting the light of God’s Son on to those not yet in the light.
